Reserve Program
As a volunteer, you will be involved in many aspects of managing and maintaining a wildlife sanctuary. In addition to ensuring a pristine habitat for the wildlife, you will be preserving a type of vegetation that is increasingly threatened by agriculture, forestry and urban development. The wildlife sanctuary is located on a rare veld (bush) type called bankenveld, recognised for its high biodiversity. The 5,000 hectares conservancy is located approximately 45 minutes from Johannesburg and 30 minutes from Pretoria.

Youth Program
Volunteers will have the opportunity to participate in the social and academic development of young people in Venda, South Africa - the Limpopo Province. Teaching and childcare activities are needed primarily. Youth during the apartheid era in South Africa played a significant role in bringing about democracy. Today, South Africa's national legislation and policies in its post-apartheid period directs its focus specifically at youth development. The country continues to struggle with youth development in the areas of skills development, unemployment, youth training, and academic achievement.
